Safe Streets for Cyclists was the PleaExpressing Opinions

along with a Call for Cycle Lanes on Madison.  Excitement mounts two wheels in Memphis as the Green Line is being sewn together from Collierville, through to Germantown, to Shelby Farms near Cordova, all the way to Tillman.  Then a big blank exists until Cooper Street in Midtown.  Even with Madison cycle lanes from Cooper to Cleveland, a preferred route to the scenic riverside park paths along the Mississippi River and to the businesses and cafes along Main Street has yet to be determined.

Some wonder if the Mayor is getting the message about the opportunities safe bike lanes create for the city, such as reducing air pollution and drawing more cyclists to Memphis.
